Have you ever wished you could explore the entire continent of Tamriel with your friends? In The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), that dream becomes a reality. I invite you to a world without limits, a massively multiplayer online RPG set in the beloved universe of The Elder Scrolls. Set a thousand years before the events of Skyrim, the world is in chaos. The imperial throne is empty, and factions battle for control of the continent while a darker, Daedric threat emerges from the shadows. My adventure begins as a soulless prisoner, and my destiny is to reclaim my soul and save all of Tamriel.

What I love about ESO is the incredible freedom it offers. After the tutorial, the entire world is open to me. Thanks to the “One Tamriel” update, my character is automatically scaled to the level of every zone, which means I can go anywhere and play with anyone, regardless of their level or alliance. I can journey to the familiar snowy peaks of Skyrim, the exotic mushroom forests of Morrowind, or the beautiful shores of the Summerset Isles, all in any order I choose.

Forge Your Own Legend:

• Deep Character Customization: I can create a unique character from one of ten diverse races, each with their own passive bonuses. The class system is incredibly flexible. I can choose one of seven powerful classes, like the fiery Dragonknight or the undead-summoning Necromancer, but I am not locked into a specific playstyle. I can use any weapon and wear any type of armor, allowing me to create a unique build that truly fits my vision. A sorcerer in heavy armor with a two-handed sword? I can do that.
• A World of Stories: Tamriel is packed with thousands of hours of content. Every zone has its own major storyline, and the game is filled with high-quality, fully-voiced quests that live up to the storytelling standard of the single-player Elder Scrolls games. I can delve into challenging 4-player dungeons, participate in epic 12-player trials (raids), or engage in massive player-versus-player battles in the war-torn land of Cyrodiil.
• An Ever-Growing World: ESO is a living, breathing world that is constantly expanding. Each year, a new major Chapter (expansion) is released, which adds a new zone, a new storyline, and often new gameplay systems. In addition, smaller DLC packs are released quarterly, adding new dungeons, zones, and stories. There is always something new for me to explore.
